Advance team leave for the Appalachian region. Some vehicles will be carrying loads for the distribution and some may be running empty. We will need these vehicles after arriving to; help distribute goods to the host churches, carry goods to afternoon sites, return undistributed goods from the sites. Advance team that arrived in the morning breaks bulk at storage location and segregates goods by site for Friday pick up.

Saturday

Wake up, clean up your sleeping gear and luggage taking all valuables with you as the space may be accessible to others while we are not there. Your travel time to sites is from 10 minutes to possibly 2 hours. All volunteers are to be at their sites before 7:30 AM.
5:30 AM
Small group prayer and breakfast in your overnight location.
5:45 AM
6:30 AM
Teams for most distant locations need to leave.
7:00 AM
Teams for all other locations need to leave.

All teams arrive at their distribution sites, meet host church participants, and have team prayer.
8:00 AM
All sites open.

Close sites when activity is complete, pack up, lunch will be provided by the host church.

3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Travel to and work at afternoon locations as determined by the host church and supporting churches as long as supplies last or until 4:30 PM. These could be mining camps, nursing homes, low income housing projects, orphanages or groups of homes or communities that could not attend at a sponsoring church.

Return to designated staging site, load any undistributed goods into the trailers, have supper, turn in leader notebooks, prepare for evening report back and worship.

Wake up, clean up your sleeping gear and load the vans. Police the entire area cleaning the; cafeteria, sleeping areas, restrooms, halls, common areas, and grounds

Due to the way groups from various churches were organized into teams for Saturday and the way they will need to leave for home after Sunday services, the groups joining the Sunday services will not be identical to those which served there on Saturday. See the site assignment spreadsheets and the Special Site Notes for breakfast and worship instructions for specifics.
